Most actually don't and some do. Its only for helping with non production cases. Its great for a lab if you want to study Aruba. Its best for lobbing IMO.

You can buy the 6000 chassis for little money. Great for a small home or business. Use a ten year old enterprise controller or use it to study lobbing. Many controllers I buy don't have the RF protect.

It was used by a big organization. Either way its a great buy. Couple with AP and firewall license only couple all three. This is the master controller and it can be used for many other cases than just.

You can get other 6 OAS controllers to use centralized licensing also. RF protect is not enabled probably to save money. I have 4 of them. The Pentagon uses Aruba.

Without RF protect you still get some ids functions but its not crucial. Do site to with centralized licensing and use VP-IPA for instant access points. You only need 2 AP's at home or a small business.
